Special Projects

Our special projects division works independently of our other divisions as the work involves specific requirements and dedicated teams unique to each individual project. All projects are overseen by the General Manager. Each project team consists of a Quantity Surveyors/Estimator who has ownership of the measurement and financial aspects of each given project, a Contracts Manager to visit the sites on a daily basis, and a Site Supervisor to control the day to day work activities. Our workforce is made up of direct and approved specialist sub-contractors.

Our projects can be very diversified and recently completed projects that we have undertaken include: -

Northern Lights Refurbishment - Contract Value £290,000.00

The refurbishment of 230 defective glazing lights at a large warehouse in Staffordshire. This work also involved the replacement of specialist roof coverings, new structural steel work and demolition.

Brickwork/Repointing Contract - Contract Value £340,000.00

Brickwork and repointing works to 200 properties for Heart of England Housing, Stratford-Upon-Avon. This project involved the erection of scaffold access equipment on each property.

Warwick Chapel Refurbishment - Contract Value - £64,000.00

The refurbishment of the external façade of a Victorian chapel. The works included the replacement of the rainwater systems, stone reconstruction work, brickwork cleaning and specialist stained leaded light glass replacement.

Industrial Unit Facade Upgrade - Contract Value £170,000.00

Over cladding of a large industrial unit to upgrade the present façade. This project also involved decorations, stone cleaning and a large amount of access scaffolding.

Warwick School Refurbishment - Contract Value £193,000.00

This project involved the stone and brick restoration of the main frontage of the school facade. The work predominately had to be undertaken during the summer holiday period but an element of the work was inevitably undertaken during term time. Careful consideration and planing was given to working on such a high profile site within close proximity of school pupils/teachers.
