GAJ undertake specialist insurance repair projects such as underpinning/subsidence and fire & flood rectification work. These projects are usually undertaken through our existing network of consultancy and architectural practices. We have the in-house facility to plan such projects from initial enquiry through to conception.

Samples of our recently completed insurance projects would include: -

Acid Treatment Room - Contract Value £90,000.00

The full refurbishment of a fire damaged Acid Treatment Room in Stone, Staffordshire. This project included the supply and installation of specialist monitoring equipment.

Subsidence Repairs to Private Dwelling - Contract Value - £55,000.00

The full installation of mini-piling to a semi-detached property in Sedgley, West Midlands. this included for all internal reinstatement works and decoration to the property.

Flood Damage to Children's Nursery - Contract Value - £75,000.00

Replacement of floor coverings, kitchen units, doors, skirting boards and complete internal redecorations to a large children's nursery in Birmingham. Due to the nature of the business this project was undertaken outside normal working hours. The project was "fast tracked" and completed to tight deadlines to minimise the disruption and loss of revenue caused by the flood damage.

Fire Damaged Factory Unit - Contract Value - £120,000.00

This project involved the installation of new structural steel supports, new cladded roof and walls and a complete internal re-fit following a major fire.
